Ingredients

  • 1 package Croissant dough
  • 2 cups Fresh spinach
  • 1 cup Feta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 large Egg, beaten
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 3

Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.

Step 4

In a bowl, combine the wilted spinach, feta cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Step 5

Unroll the croissant dough on a lightly floured surface and separate it into 8 triangles.

Place about 1 tablespoon of the spinach feta mixture at the wide end of each triangle.

Carefully roll up the croissants starting from the wide end and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
