Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Frozen puff pastry
  • 2 cups Fresh spinach, chopped
  • 4 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp All-purpose flour, for dusting

Directions

Step 1

Thaw the puff pastry sheet according to the package instructions.

Step 2

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Step 4

In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, sautéed spinach, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Step 5

Lightly dust a clean surface with flour and roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle, approximately 10x12 inches.

Step 6

Spread the spinach and cheese mixture evenly across the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border along one side.

Step 7

Starting from the opposite side, roll the pastry tightly into a log. Seal the edge by brushing it with a little water and pinching it closed.

Step 8

Slice the log into 1-inch thick swirls and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 9

Brush the tops of the swirls with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Step 10

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the swirls are puffed and golden brown.

Step 11

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
