Ingredients

  • 300 g Fresh spinach leaves
  • 120 g Breadcrumbs
  • 100 g Grated mozzarella cheese
  • 50 g Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 30 g All-purpose flour (optional, for dusting)

Directions

Step 1

Wash the spinach thoroughly, then cook it in a pot of boiling water for 1-2 minutes until wilted. Remove from heat and drain well. Squeeze out excess water and chop finely.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, grated mozzarella, grated Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and forms a sticky mixture.

Divide the mixture into 6-8 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty about 2.5 cm thick. If the mixture is too sticky to handle, lightly dust your hands with flour.
