Ingredients

  • 500 grams Fresh spinach
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 250 milliliters Whole milk
  • 120 grams Cream cheese
  • 150 grams Shredded mozzarella
  • 50 grams Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.125 teaspoons Nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 small amount Cooking spray or oil (for greasing)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Lightly grease a medium-sized baking dish with cooking spray or oil.

Step 2

Wash the spinach thoroughly. In a large pan over medium heat, sauté the spinach until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and squeeze out excess water, then set aside.

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
