Ingredients

  • 900 grams Fresh spinach
  • 60 grams Butter
  • 2 medium Garlic cloves
  • 225 grams Cream cheese
  • 120 ml Heavy cream
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 50 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).

Step 2

Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly and roughly chop any large leaves. Place the spinach in a large pot over medium heat with a splash of water. Cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted. Drain the spinach in a colander, pressing out excess liquid, and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic cloves and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the cream cheese to the skillet and stir until it has melted and combined with the butter. Slowly stir in the heavy cream until fully incorporated.

Stir the wilted spinach into the cream cheese mixture. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper, and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
