  • 8 cups (cubed) sourdough bread
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 6 cups (packed) fresh spinach

  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.

Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the bacon and place it on paper towels to drain. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into bite-sized pieces.
