Ingredients

  • 20 whole Cherry tomatoes
  • 0.5 cups Vodka
  • 2 tablespoons Hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Wash the cherry tomatoes thoroughly and dry them with a clean towel.

Step 2

Use a clean toothpick or cocktail skewer to poke a small hole into the top (stem end) of each tomato. This will allow the vodka mixture to be injected easily.

Step 3

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the vodka, hot sauce, lime juice, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Step 4

Using a culinary syringe or food injector, draw the vodka mixture into the syringe.

Step 5

Carefully inject a small amount (approximately 1-2 ml) of the vodka mixture into each tomato through the hole you created. Be gentle to avoid splitting the tomato skin.

Step 6

Place the injected tomatoes on a serving platter and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors infuse.

Step 7

Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro, if desired, and serve chilled.
