  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Water
  • 1 cup Fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 4 cups Cooked jasmine rice

Directions

Step 1

Thinly slice the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Step 2

Peel and mince the garlic cloves, and finely chop the red chilies. Adjust the amount of chili based on your heat preference.

In a small bowl, mix the oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and water. Set the sauce aside.

Step 4

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Step 5

Add the minced garlic and chopped chilies to the hot oil, stirring constantly for 30 seconds to release their aroma.

Step 6

Add the sliced chicken to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and slightly golden.

Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and stir well to coat evenly. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
