Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.
In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced okra and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the edges begin to brown. Remove the okra from the skillet and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, allowing them to soften and release their juices.
Sprinkle half of the spice mixture over the shrimp and toss to coat evenly.
Push the tomato-onion mixture to the edges of the skillet and add the shrimp in a single layer in the center of the pan. Cook for 2 minutes on one side until the shrimp are just turning pink, then flip them over.
Return the cooked okra to the skillet and sprinkle the remaining spice mixture over the dish. Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and opaque.
Remove the skillet from the heat and drizzle the juice of one lemon over the dish.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot over rice, quinoa, or with crusty bread.
