  • 1 large Green chili (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro (leaves only)
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Peel and chop the yellow onion and mince the garlic cloves.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until fragrant and translucent, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the ground cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes to toast the spices.
