Ingredients

  • 500 grams prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 whole lime, juiced and zested
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 200 grams cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 medium carrot, grated
  • 0.5 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 medium avocado, ripe and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 4 pieces fresh lime wedges

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, juice and zest of lime, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.

Step 2

Add the prawns to the marinade, toss to coat well, and set aside to marinate while preparing other components.

In a medium bowl, combine cabbage, carrot, red onion, and cilantro. Add mayonnaise and mix well until the slaw is evenly coated. Set aside.
