Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken liver
  • 0.5 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 pieces green chilies
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 50 milliliters water

Directions

Step 1

Clean the chicken liver by rinsing it under cold water and removing any connective tissue or fat. Cut into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, garam masala, ginger paste, garlic paste, and salt. Mix well.

Step 3

Add the liver pieces to the spice mixture and marinate for 10 minutes.

Slice the onion thinly and slit the green chilies lengthwise.

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and sauté until they turn golden brown.

Add the marinated liver to the pan and stir-fry for 5 minutes.

Lower the heat and cover the pan. Allow the liver to cook for another 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liver is fully cooked and tender.
