  • 500 g ground beef (80% lean)
  • 250 g ground pork
  • 100 g Italian breadcrumbs
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, and Italian breadcrumbs.

Step 2

Add the grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and red chili flakes to the bowl.

Step 3

Sprinkle the dried oregano, dried basil, and paprika evenly over the mixture, followed by the salt and black pepper.

Crack the egg into the bowl and add the fresh parsley. Mix thoroughly using your hands or with a sturdy spoon until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1 inch thick. Place them on a plate or tray.
