Spray the inside of your crock pot with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken wings to evenly coat them.
Place the seasoned chicken wings into the crock pot, arranging them in an even layer.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey, hot sauce, butter, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar. Stir until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth.
Pour half of the sauce over the chicken wings in the crock pot. Reserve the remaining sauce for later.
Cover the crock pot with the lid and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the wings are tender and cooked through.
Preheat your oven to broil. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
Carefully remove the wings from the crock pot using tongs and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart evenly.
To thicken the reserved sauce, mix the cornstarch and water together in a small bowl to form a slurry. Add this slurry to the reserved sauce in the saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Brush the thickened sauce generously over the wings.
Broil the wings in the oven for 4-5 minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized and slightly crispy. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
Remove the wings from the oven and transfer them to a serving platter.
Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
