Ingredients

  • 200 grams Crab meat
  • 200 grams Prawns, peeled and finely chopped
  • 120 grams All-purpose flour
  • 30 grams Cornstarch
  • 1 large Egg
  • 120 ml Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 large Red chili, finely chopped
  • 3 stalks Spring onions, finely sliced
  • 3 tablespoons Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 500 ml Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Chili flakes

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, chopped prawns, minced garlic, red chili, spring onions, and cilantro.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.

Add the egg and milk to the dry ingredients and whisk until a smooth batter forms.

Fold the crab and prawn mixture into the batter until evenly coated.
