  • 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, pour the beer, olive oil, soy sauce, lime juice, and honey, and whisk until well combined.

Step 2

Add the minced garlic, smoked paprika, ground cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes. Whisk again to ensure all the spices are evenly distributed.

If desired, stir in the fresh chopped cilantro for an herby finish.

Step 4

Place your desired protein (chicken, pork, beef, or tofu) in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.

Step 5

Pour the marinade over the protein, ensuring it is fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap.

Step 6

Refrigerate the protein and allow it to marinate for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours for a deeper flavor infusion.

When ready to cook, discard the excess marinade and prepare the protein using your preferred method, such as grilling, baking, or pan-searing.
