Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef sirloin
  • 1 large Red bell pepper
  • 1 large Green bell pepper
  • 1 large Red onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 0.5 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley
  • 6 pieces Wooden or metal skewers

Directions

Step 1

Cut the beef sirloin into 1-inch cubes and set aside.

Step 2

Core and dice the red and green bell peppers into 1-inch pieces. Peel and cut the red onion into similar-sized chunks.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, prepare the marinade by combining olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, red chili flakes, ground black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

Step 4

Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

Step 5

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20-30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.

Step 6

Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.

Step 7

Thread the marinated beef pieces onto the skewers, alternating with bell pepper and onion chunks.

Step 8

Grill the kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness and the vegetables are slightly charred.

Step 9

Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Step 10

Serve the kebabs warm with your choice of sides, such as rice, salad, or pita bread.
