Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground chicken
  • 100 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, and egg.

Step 2

Add the minced garlic, red chili flakes, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, black pepper, and chopped cilantro to the bowl.

Step 3

Mix the ingredients thoroughly with clean hands or a spoon until fully combined.

Step 4

Using your hands, form small, bite-sized balls (about 1-1.5 inches in diameter) from the mixture. You should get around 20-24 balls.

Step 5

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 6

Once the oil is hot, carefully place the chicken balls into the skillet, making sure they do not overcrowd the pan. Cook in batches if necessary.

Step 7

Sear the chicken balls for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.

Step 8

Lower the heat to medium-low, cover the skillet, and let the chicken balls cook for an additional 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Step 9

Remove the chicken balls from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.

Step 10

Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as spicy mayo or garlic yogurt sauce, and enjoy!
