Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (6 oz each) Salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon (chopped) Fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and set them aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, ground cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Rub the spice mixture evenly onto both sides of the salmon fillets.

Step 4

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 5

Once the oil is hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes, undisturbed, until the skin is crispy.

Step 6

Flip the fillets carefully and continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Step 7

While the salmon is cooking, prepare the mustard sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, and chopped parsley until smooth.

Step 8

Remove the cooked salmon from the skillet and transfer to serving plates.

Step 9

Drizzle the mustard sauce over the salmon or serve it on the side.

Step 10

Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.
