  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 cup Unsalted chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if using the oven method.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper to create the spice rub.

Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and rub both sides evenly with the spice mixture.

Heat the olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. If using a Crock Pot, sear the pork chops in a regular skillet.
