  • 2 teaspoons (or 2 tea bags) Black tea leaves (or tea bags)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey (optional)
  • 0.25 cups Milk (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Pour 4 cups of water into a medium-sized saucepan and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the star anise pods, cinnamon stick, cloves, and sliced ginger to the water.

Step 3

Reduce the heat to low and let the spices simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse completely.
