  • 4 whole Fresh lemons
  • 0.5 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 4 cups Sparkling water
  • 2 cups Ice cubes
  • 4 slices Lemon slices
  • 8 leaves Fresh mint leaves

Directions

Step 1

Roll the lemons on a countertop to make them easier to juice, then cut them in half and juice them into a small bowl or measuring cup. You should have about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar completely dissolves. This creates a simple syrup.

Step 3

Remove the saucepan from heat and let the simple syrup cool for about 5 minutes. Then stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 4

In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and the cooled vanilla simple syrup. Mix well.
