Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Place the spareribs on a clean work surface. Use a sharp knife to remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Cut the rack of ribs into individual rib portions.
In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and water to create the sweet honey sauce.
Place the ribs in a large baking dish, and pour half of the prepared sauce over the ribs. Reserve the other half for glazing later.
Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
After 2 hours, remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C).
