Ingredients

  • 4 slices Rustic bread or baguette
  • 2 medium Ripe tomatoes
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley or basil (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

1. Preheat your oven or broiler to 375°F (190°C).

2. Slice the bread into 4 even slices if not already cut, and lay them on a baking tray.
