Ingredients

  • 12 oz Elbow macaroni
  • 12 oz Spam (diced)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish lightly with cooking spray or butter.

Step 2

Cook the elbow macaroni in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Step 3

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the flour and whisk constantly for 1-2 minutes to form a roux.

Slowly pour in the milk while whisking to avoid lumps. Cook the mixture for 3-4 minutes until it thickens.
