Ingredients

  • 1 can Spam (12 oz can)
  • 4 pieces Burger buns
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese slices
  • 4 leaves Lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Slice the Spam into 8 even slices (approximately ¼ inch thick).

Step 2

Warm a large skillet over medium heat and add the vegetable oil.

Once the skillet is hot, lay the Spam slices in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and slightly crispy. Remove Spam and set aside.
