  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese (grated, for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.

While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
