  • 1 tsp dried basil

  • 0 to taste parmesan cheese (grated, for serving)
  • 0 to taste fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Remove the casing from the Italian sausage and crumble it into the hot skillet. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
