Ingredients

  • 400 grams Spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Fontina cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta cooking water, then drain the spaghetti.

Step 2

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Step 3

Add the heavy cream to the saucepan and stir. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the cream to warm but not boil.

Step 4

Gradually add the grated Parmesan, shredded mozzarella, shredded Fontina, and crumbled Gorgonzola to the saucepan. Stir continuously until the cheeses are fully melted, creating a smooth and creamy sauce.

Step 5

Season the cheese sauce with salt and black pepper, adjusting to taste.

Step 6

Add the drained spaghetti to the saucepan and toss to coat the pasta in the cheese sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add small amounts of the reserved pasta cooking water until the desired consistency is reached.

Step 7

Serve the spaghetti warm, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
