  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 0.25 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water.

In a large skillet or sauté pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
