Ingredients

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 500 g fresh mussels, cleaned and debearded
  • 250 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 150 ml dry white wine
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 lemon wedges, for serving

Directions

Step 1

1. Fill a large pot with water, add a generous pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until al dente according to the package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

2. In a large, deep skillet or saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and red chili flakes to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes start to soften and release their juices.
