  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 4 servings cooked rice or noodles

Directions

Step 1

Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain into strips. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Whisk until smooth to create the marinade and sauce.

Pour half of the sauce mixture over the sliced beef and toss to coat. Reserve the other half for later use. Let the beef marinate for 10 minutes.
