Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground pork
  • 50 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 stalks Green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 100 milliliters Chicken stock

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped green onions, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Use your hands to mix the ingredients until they are thoroughly combined.

Step 3

Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. You should have approximately 16-20 pork balls.

Step 4

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pork balls and cook them in batches for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are browned. Transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5

Once all the pork balls are browned and placed on the baking sheet, pour the chicken stock over them.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the pork balls are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 160°F (72°C).

Step 7

Serve the savory pork balls hot, garnished with additional chopped green onions if desired. Enjoy them as an appetizer or pair them with a side of vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
