  • 500 grams Ground beef
  • 60 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano, dried
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic. In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Let them cool slightly.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, cooked onion and garlic, parsley, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Step 4

Using clean hands, mix the ingredients thoroughly until they are well combined.

Step 5

Form the mixture into small balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 6

Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the beef balls.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, until cooked through and browned on the outside.

Step 8

Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
