  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.75 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.

Gradually add the water and apple cider vinegar to the dry mixture, stirring until a smooth and lump-free batter is formed.

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test the oil by dropping a small amount of the batter into the oil; it should sizzle and rise to the surface without browning immediately.
