  • 4 quarts Water

Directions

Step 1

Begin by preparing the lobsters. Ensure you have fresh and lively lobsters for ideal results. Rinse them under cold running water.

Step 2

In a large stockpot or lobster pot, add 4 quarts of water and 2 tablespoons of sea salt. Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Once boiling, place a steam rack or basket at the bottom of the pot. Gently place the lobsters on the rack, making sure they are not submerged in the water.
