In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, shredded cabbage, chopped scallions, grated carrot, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
Add salt, white pepper, sesame oil, half of the water, and the egg to the pork mixture. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
Place one dumpling wrapper on a clean, flat surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling into the center of the wrapper.
