Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Once hot, add mustard seeds and let them splutter.

Add cumin seeds and allow them to sizzle for a few seconds.

Step 3

Add the finely chopped green chilies and sauté for about 30 seconds.

Stir in the chopped onion and cook until they become translucent, about 4-5 minutes.
