  • 0.5 teaspoon Cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese (or a soy-free alternative)
  • 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon Water (for egg wash)

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Add the cold, cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Beat 1 large egg with 0.5 cup cold water. Gradually add this to the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.
