Ingredients

  • 1 cup besan (gram flour)
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 1 medium, finely chopped tomato
  • 1 finely chopped green chili

  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 0.25 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons, finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine besan with water. Use a whisk to mix until smooth and lump-free.

Step 2

Add the chopped tomato, green chili, ginger, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, chopped coriander leaves, and salt to the besan batter. Mix everything well. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.

Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a non-stick pan and heat over medium flame.
