Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess grease.
Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Stir in the taco seasoning mix, following the package instructions (typically adding about 2/3 cup of water), and cook until the mixture thickens.
Add the black beans, corn, and 1 cup of salsa to the beef mixture. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes.
