  • 2 large (about 1 lb total) Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup, cooked or canned (rinsed and drained) Black beans
  • 1 cup, canned or frozen and thawed Corn kernels
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz, softened Cream cheese
  • 2 stalks, finely sliced Green onion
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 can (8 rolls) Refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Cook and shred the chicken breasts. If needed, boil or bake them until cooked through (internal temperature at least 165°F/74°C). Let cool slightly before shredding.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked and shredded chicken, black beans, corn, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, green onion, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
