Ingredients

  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 200 grams turkey breast (sliced)
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese (sliced)
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 medium tomato (sliced)
  • 4 pieces lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium avocado (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions

Step 1

Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on one side of each sourdough bread slice.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard until well combined.

Step 3

Place 4 slices of sourdough bread buttered-side down on a clean work surface.

Step 4

Spread the mayonnaise-mustard mixture evenly on the unbuttered side of these bread slices.

Step 5

Top each slice with a layer of lettuce leaves, followed by slices of turkey breast, a slice of cheddar cheese, avocado slices, and tomato slices.

Place the remaining 4 slices of sourdough bread on top, buttered-side up, to form sandwiches.
