  • 2 cups Sour cream
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Fresh berries (optional, for garnish)
  • 2 sprigs Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the unflavored gelatin powder with 3 tablespoons of cold water. Stir to combine and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.

Meanwhile, in a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the boiling water and granulated sugar until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Add the bloomed gelatin to the sugar-water mixture and stir until the gelatin has completely dissolved.

Stir in the fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Allow this mixture to cool to room temperature, about 10 minutes.
