  • 500 grams Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 200 grams Sour cream
  • 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger (grated)
  • 2 medium Tomato (pureed)
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro (chopped)

Directions

Step 1

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 3

Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Step 4

Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and paprika. Stir well to toast the spices for 30 seconds.
