Ingredients

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) Crescent roll dough
  • 16 oz Cream cheese
  • 1.5 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup), melted Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Honey (optional, for drizzling)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray or butter.

Step 2

Unroll one package of crescent roll dough and lay it flat in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Lightly press the seams together to form a single layer.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

Step 4

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the layer of crescent dough in the baking dish.

Step 5

Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough and lay it on top of the cream cheese layer. Gently press the seams together again to form a single top layer.

Step 6

Brush the melted butter evenly over the top layer of dough.

Step 7

In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1/2 cup of granulated sugar with the ground cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the melted butter.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for at least 20 minutes. The cheesecake will set as it cools. Optionally, drizzle with honey before serving for added sweetness.

Step 10

Cut into squares or rectangles and serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled. Enjoy!
