  • 240 grams All-purpose flour

  • 3 grams Salt
  • 60 grams Unsalted butter, cubed and cold
  • 120 milliliters Water
  • 15 milliliters Vegetable oil (for brushing)
  • 5 grams Coarse sea salt (optional, for sprinkling)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Using a pastry cutter or your fingertips, work the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
