Ingredients

  • 0.75 cup Unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 1.25 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 standard-sized bars Milk chocolate bars
  • 1.5 cups Mini marshmallows

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal, and set aside.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

Step 4

In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder, and salt.

Step 5

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined to form a soft dough.

Press half of the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the base layer.

Lay the milk chocolate bars on top of the dough to create a single, even layer. Break the bars as needed to fit the pan completely.

Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before using the parchment overhang to lift them out. Cut into 16 squares and serve.
