Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Tilapia fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Lemon wedges (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Pat the tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

Step 2

Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.

Step 3

Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Step 4

Carefully place the seasoned tilapia fillets into the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side. Remove the fillets from the skillet and set aside.

Step 5

Reduce the heat to low and add the unsalted butter and lemon juice to the skillet. Stir until the butter is melted and combined to form a light sauce.

Return the cooked tilapia fillets to the skillet, spooning some of the lemon butter sauce over the top.
