Ingredients

  • 1 ball (around 10-12 oz) Pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 cloves, minced Garlic
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Sour cream
  • 6 ounces, thinly sliced Smoked salmon
  • 0.25 cup, thinly sliced Red onion
  • 2 tablespoons Capers
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped Fresh dill
  • 1 cup Arugula
  • 0.5 juiced Lemon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven to heat up.

Step 2

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to form a 12-inch circle. Transfer the dough to a piece of parchment paper for easy handling.

Step 3

Brush 1 tablespoon of olive oil evenly over the surface of the dough. Sprinkle the minced garlic over the dough, distributing it evenly.

Step 4

Carefully transfer the dough (with the parchment paper) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the crust is cooked through.

Step 5

While the crust is baking, combine the cream cheese and sour cream in a small bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Step 6

Once the crust is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly for 3-5 minutes.

Step 7

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Step 8

Arrange the smoked salmon slices evenly across the top of the pizza.

Step 9

Scatter the thinly sliced red onion and capers over the salmon.

Step 10

In a small bowl, toss the arugula with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Step 11

Distribute the dressed arugula and chopped dill over the pizza as a fresh topping.

Step 12

Cut into slices and serve immediately. Enjoy your gourmet Smoked Salmon Pizza!
